Kitsons Transport offers a detailed and professional piano transport service, ensuring every aspect of your piano’s journey is covered:
Booking your piano removal with Kitsons Transport is simple and convenient. We recommend scheduling your move at least four weeks in advance to ensure availability. You can book your service through our website or by calling our customer service team on 0800 328 2207. Our team will provide a customised quote based on your specific needs.
Proper preparation is essential for a smooth piano removal. Ensure that access points such as doorways and pathways are clear of obstacles. If possible, disassemble any removable parts of the piano beforehand. Communicate any special requirements or concerns to our team in advance to ensure they are fully prepared. Keeping the area clean and uncluttered will help facilitate a swift and efficient loading process.
Our team will take care of packing your piano to ensure it is protected during the move. We ask that you remove any loose items from the piano prior to our arrival. Using protective packing materials, our team will wrap your piano and secure it with strapping, ensuring it is fully protected throughout the move.
On the day of the move, please ensure that the property can be easily accessed, including parking availability. Our team will carefully move your piano, using ramps and protective coverings to prevent any damage to your property. The piano will be transported to your new location and positioned according to your instructions. We take all necessary precautions to ensure both your piano and property are safeguarded during the move.
In addition to piano removals, Kitsons Transport offers piano disposal and recycling services in Wigan. If your piano is no longer needed or functional, our team can handle its disposal in an environmentally responsible manner. We hold all necessary licences for proper disposal, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. For pianos that are still in good condition, we can help find new homes for them, such as local schools or community groups, ensuring the instrument continues to be enjoyed.
