For over 25 years, Kitsons Transport has been the North West’s trusted partner for professional removals, clearances, and specialist transport services. As a family-run business, we understand that moving isn’t just about shifting boxes, it’s about moving lives, businesses, and precious memories.
From our roots in Wigan, Manchester, Preston, and Warrington, we have grown into a premier removal company serving the entire UK. Our commitment remains the same as the day we started: providing a stress-free, reliable, and affordable service tailored to every customer’s unique needs.
Our main area of work is domestic and commercial removals with lots of happy customer reviews on Google, yell.com, Checkertrade and the Good Trader Scheme (Trading standards approved).
We pride ourselves on being more than just a “man and van” service. We bring decades of expertise and a professional touch to every job, large or small.
Family Values, Professional Standards: We treat your belongings with the same care we would our own. Our fully trained staff are punctual, polite, and dedicated to a high standard of service.
Specialist Expertise: While we handle all types of removals, we are renowned UK-wide as specialists in Piano Removals and Disposals. From uprights to baby grands, we have the equipment and experience to move these delicate instruments safely.
Fully Licensed & Insured: Your peace of mind is our priority. We carry £15,000 in Goods in Transit insurance and £5 million in Public Liability insurance. We are also a fully licensed waste carrier.
The Right Tools for the Job: Our fleet of purpose-built vehicles ranges from small vans to 7.5-tonne trucks, ensuring we have the right capacity for everything from student moves to four-bedroom family homes.
